You could use this for a number of reasons

• As a resource bank, many educators, particularly Geographers and Historians are uploading their teaching presentations online, for students and other educators to use.
• Upload presentations for students to use for revision or homework. These can also be easily embedded into the College website. Slideshare now comes with a download file feature.
• For peer or public assessment, getting students to judge each others work.

Remember these are averages, per person over a lifetime of 78.5 years. Averages only tell us about typical behaviour. The figures will vary greatly between individuals.

Milk- 15,951 pints

To produce this amount of milk for the population, 2.1 million cows are needed, eating 100 kilograms of grass a day.

Meat- 89% will eat meat. 4 head of cattle, 21 sheep, 15 pigs, 1200 chickens and 13,345 eggs.

Potatoes- 2327kg

Bread- 4283 loaves

Fruit and Vegetables – 5272 apples, 10,866 carrots

95% of our food is imported.

Chocolate – 8.2kg a year, 10,000 chocolate bars in a lifetime.
