Personal Plea

If you are an international colleague who has used my geography resources, ideas or websites, would it be possible to email/comment a short description of how you used them and your location.

I would be hugely grateful, this is part of our work towards the International Schools Award.

If you are an international Geography department and would like to link up, please do contact me.

    Hi Tony
I am not technically international altho’ many of our students are – InterHigh has students from various places in Africa, Europe, Far East and even Australia – and I must admit to borrowing and modifying for our use several of your ideas. As all our stuff is transmitted by PP, text and voice together with my approaches to wikis and blogs since I started to be the major geographer this term, I have used yours and Richard’s among others quite shamelessly!
Many thanks for all the great ideas you come up with

Wow… that sounds really interesting. How did you get into this?

    Hi Tony,
I hope I’m not too late in replying to this request. For several years I have been snooping around on SLN where your suggestions and ideas are legendary. I have used them in all sorts of different contexts – to deliver the curriculum, on PSHE days, to raise the profile of geography and to introduce geography to our attached primary school. Your geography posters always raise smiles when people come into my classroom.

I teach at a British School in Manila. The pupils come from all 4 corners of the globe. We follow the British Curriculum at KS3, IGCSE and IB. So just like teaching in the UK but a bit sweatier!

Thank you so much for all the wonderful ideas and resources you have so selflessly made available over the years.

    Jodi
