G.A. Ning

The G.A. now has a new Ning to help collaboration…

Sadly, no nice badge. I like collecting those…

This is a great step forward, but I do worry about whether in the future we may have too many rooms to speak in…

Someone once quoted that at me via email when they were upset by arrival of the now defunct Geography forum, how times change.

I still think that School History Forum is the best model of practice.

    Thanks Tony…
Have just added badges to the network so that you can get one…
Stephen Schwab said the same thing yesterday: are there too many rooms ?
Various Nings have opened up since I was – I think the first ? – to suggest this platform for UK geographers as a way of networking.
Hope that it will be of use once discussions get going..
The Edexcel Geog Ning is proving to be very valuable..

    Thanks Alan,

Fully supportive and its in my RSS feeds, thinking aloud as I’m struggling to find the time to keep up with the conversations.

Ironically, I think I may have my first venture into Nings, with our local primary cluster.

Good to hear – look forward to your experiences. Just been chatting to Dan R-E who is also thinking of the Ning thing…
