Antarctica landscape tagging

Saturday, December 13th, 2008

Produce as a starter, just a bit of fun, I’ve used this strategy before with coasts. Can you name the landscape features from the tags? Warning- not all fit the background images- well, there must be some differentiation.  ;)   All images and music are creative commons.

Can be download from here.

I’m not a Christmas fan- but Year 7 seem to like this.

Sorry have been naughty with the music, it was made a long time ago. No excuse I know, but it’s for the children. Can be downloaded here  (better quality with an IWB) with a brief PowerPoint.

Share Geography

Saturday, December 13th, 2008

For educators and fellow colleagues.

For some weeks I’ve been updating Radical Geography, I’ve been announcing new updates on ShareGeography; most recent including teaching resources on Antarctica. Please subscribe via email or RSS feed.

In the short-term, this blog will remain as a resource for students, so interested parties do keep reading, but we are undecided yet which direction to go with the new GCSE spec, I have a strange urge for something international. ;)

Until next week…
