Friends of Kirk Hallam Lake and Meadows

friendofkirkhallam

Thanks to David, who directed me to the Friends of Kirk Hallam Lake and Meadows, a community group who have the aim of managing the area. A good example of how your place is attractive and how the community, or a stakeholder group, works to sustain a resource that helps enhance the quality of life of local residents. There is a nice gallery of images on the site. Useful for Year 7 who are considering how the lake is managed.

What’s up with Radical Geography?

Sunday, April 15th, 2007

RadicalGeography is still active, but I’ve decided to slim it down and go for a thematic (Topic) layout, it was looking a mess and I want it to reflect the new Key Stage 3 changes and Pilot course. My aim is to upload new resources as I teach or create them. All old links are now dead, apologises in advance for the inconvenience. So that means no interactive games for the moment!
